Donny

Donny is a male white and tabby kitten found as a stray. Donny was only about 7 weeks old, not even weaned and with terrible cat flu. He weighed just 0.8kgs.

Donny is now about 18 weeks old and behaving like any normal kitten would. Adorable, friendly, affectionate and very cute. Full of fun and keen to explore everything! He is socialised with dogs and a cat, and people.

Donny would love a home where he has someone around a lot and/or a friendly dog to snuggle with. He is probably best with older children. He loves to snuggle under your chin and adores belly rubs.

He also loves to curl up on your lap.  If there is more than one lap to go around he will share himself
out so everyone gets a bit of lap time.

Donny has chronic sinusitis as a direct result of the cat flu and herpes virus that he carries.

The good news is that it is not a bad case, he might be able to be cured of it with an extended dose of
oxy-tetracycline (which is not expensive, he is now taking it, and it is easy to get pills down!) and
he is very unlikely to infect other cats.

The bad news is that he will most likely have the sinusitis for the rest of his life.  He will probably be prone to flare ups which will need veterinary treatment and health insurance will not cover this pre-existing condition (but would cover any new conditions) so all sinusitis-related costs would be paid wholly by the owner.

We are therefore looking for a very special owner who is prepared to take these health issues in their stride.  Anyone who does will be amply rewarded with a super, loving and fun companion.

Are you that special owner?
